As some know, I really like antler stocks. Preferably smooth and either shaped like the S&W Service stocks or the Magna style that was introduced in 1935 (?).

I have several but my latest pair has found a home on the S&W Model 25-2.

Combined with a grip adapter, this combination makes a very comfortable and useful aide for accurate shooting. This same combination is also excellent on carry pieces, either round butts,

or square butts

I have some elk antlers I got from a friend when he moved out of state... one day I will make some grips for a few of my ruger blackhawks...

Beauties!!

Stay safe.

I think the top 25-2 grips are amazingly beautiful. Very nice grips for sure.

That marbling in the 6.5" is what caught my eye the most. It made an already beautiful work of art even more beautiful.

Thank you both. The amazing thing is the marbling is what is left after the bark was removed. Those grips are smooth, just as I like them but well marked. Not something I have often found.

When I saw them on line, the image suggested it but they were still beautiful. I figured if they did not suit me, I could find a new home for them with someone else. Glad I took the chance.
