New FN 9mm Hi Power from the gun show

Hi there, I decided to check out the gun show in Houston. One of the discount vendors was selling an FN Hi Power in 9mm with the SFS system. The supply of affordable FN Hi Powers, particularly those in 9mm, seems to be drying up. So, I decided that it was now or never. There's no way that I would fork out $600+ for essentially the same gun with Browning stamped on the side. For $429 + tax, it came with 4 magazines in all, three 10 rounders and one 13-rounder. The quality is impeccable.

I'll take it to the range tomorrow and see for myself how it compares to my CZ-75. More to come....

Yeah, small world, eh? Were you the guy looking at the high gloss 40 version? I bought mine around 10:30-11:00.

NO essentially about it they are the SAME gun. You made a good decision and a great purchase. The guy at FN who thought up the idea of putting "Browning" on the slide instead of FN ought to have gotten a raise.
