Recently I have been able to resume grouse hunting and want a light double 20 guage. I would like a old Spanish side by side like I has years ago but they do not seem to exist anymore for sale. I found two over/unders that appeal to me. A legacy Pointer. It is cheap and fits me well with it's raised rib. Very nice for the money. But Franchi has a new model o/u that is really light and has ejectors. It is the Instinct with an aluminum receiver. The Legacy looks nice and fits well but with a stock adjustment I think the Instinct will be better. Any suggestions?
The Legacy is $500 and the Instinct is 1200 but I can trade my 540xr on it.

Those Spanish guns still exist and are some of the best made at those price points.
From low to high start with an Uggie through AyA and Arrietta on up to Grulla and Arrizabalaga
If the spellings are off thank my iPhone autocorrect

I haven't seen any for sale but I agree they are good guns.

Thanks one ounce a couple interest me. I am reluctant to buy online as I am picky about how an upland gun fits. Cabbalas has a store near, I will check their listings.
