hello

I am currently going through a online trade school to be a gun smith and i understand what i learn but i don't know how well the information will be in the shop i'm going to work for i could use some encouragement please

Hang in there. You will learn more once you get to the hands on part of your job and get to learn from someone who has done it for alonger amount of time. Good luck

He's right. Just get in there and start working. Just move slowly. Make sure you do good research on every job before doing it. Try to practice repairs on old firearms before the actual repair. You will learn a lot from this. In fact after over 20 years doing gun work, there are still some jobs I just don't do. Don't try to do things that you have not studied well. Most good gunsmiths know that they have some limitations. It's just learning what they are. You will do fine.
