New Hampshire handgun rentals

I live in Vermont, and while we have great gun laws, we don't have all the fun opportunities that people in some other states have. For example, I can't find a range where I can rent handguns. I am interested in trying out some different handgun calibers before I buy one for fun and eventually for concealed carry.

Does anyone know if there are any public ranges in New Hampshire that rent handguns? I'm willing to travel to pretty much anywhere in the state. I'll make a weekend trip out of it if I have to.

Manchester Firing Line rents out guns, although their site doesn't state which ones. I guess you could call and hear them out.

IIRC the same company runs a range further north in NH - check to see which one is closer to you.

Yes, that one is on Rt. 106 in Belmont... just south of Laconia.

They also rent a bunch of nifty full autos ... Thompson, Grease Gun (M-3?)real AK-47s, etc., etc., etc.

And if you think you burn up a bunch of ammo with a handgun, wait 'till you try a full auto. Hint: Bring money. Plenty of money.

And worth every penny.

If you live in Southern VT, somewhere along Rt 91, the Smith and Wesson Shooting Sports Center (www.smith-wesson.com) is a very good option, too.
