New heavy-duty Thumbler better??

I was about to pull the trigger on a Thumbler, and now I see they have this heavy-duty "deluxe" model out. The Extreme tumbler Rebel 17... Is it truly better? Any reviews? Thanks-

It looks like it claims to have a better weld and powder coated inside under the rubber insert. Other than that it looks identical. I can't really say if it's worth the extra money or not. I have the regular Model B for about 4 years and it's been great so far.

Other than that it looks identical.

those pillow block ball bearings are a significant difference and a huge improvement over the plastic bushings of the Model B.

It looks like the Rebel 17 is a bit stouter than the Thumler Model B with a higher weight rating.

The Thumler Model B has been around for decades and probably last well if it is not overloaded. But, I can see with stainless steel media it is easy to overload the Model B.

I'd would probably spring for the Rebel 17.maybe when my Model B fails.

I have been using a Thumler since the 80's, but I am all for buying the new and improved version of anything.

Looks like they have put roller bearings on the shafts, that is an improvement.
