Been wanting a new gun lately, so I did some wheeling and dealing to get some extra cash. I was pretty much set on a CZ 75B Compact. I found a couple locally through a gun trading site, but my e-mails were never returned.
I was heading to Gander to feel one to make sure, then I remembered my brother telling me his aging neighbor had a Browning Hi Power he wanted to sell; that was two years ago.
Anyway, after calling my bro and confirming the man still had the gun, I went over and was thrilled! He had a new in box Hi Power with adjustable sights...never fired...I went to barter, but saw it and paid him $600. Just looked up the date code and it's a 1988. What's sweet is that back in 87 I was going to purchase one and bought a Smith 5906 instead...always regretted that. This time I was able to turn back the clock.
