So I waited too long on getting the stainless Tisas Hi Power clones to supplement my original FN Hi Powers and FEG and Inglis Hi Powers. Therefore I went overboard and got 4 Girsan Hi Power clones. In the left is Girsan's MCP35 DI which is a clone of the FM Detectives of the 1990s. In the middle is Girsan's MCP35 Match Ops which has the rail, beaver tail, flat trigger and no mag safety. And on the right for comparison is Browning's MKIII Practical model that I bought in the early 1990s. The DI hasn't been to the range yet but the Match Ops is still breaking in. It's not 100 reliable yet like the Practical was out of the box. However the trigger is rather nice for a Hi Power which weren't blessed with great triggers. I'm ordering thin grips for the new Girsans and plan on replacing the sights because their not too great. That being said I'm pleased with the clones overall.
