I had an old steel lined Alfonsos of Hollywood Bob James fast draw belt and holster set that my dad bought in the early 60's. He blew a 45 cal hole in one side and the belt was fine for a 12 year old child which apparently was how big my dad was in 1963. I kicked around having Alfonsos make me a new belt and right side holster but that would have made a non matching set and they wanted $700 for a belt and one holster. I decided to keep the holy holster for nostalgia sake I knew of a vendor Poland that does excellent work for cheap and I sent him a sterling buckle for it. I also had him build me a belt for a kirkpatric hoster set that I hated the belt on for my ROA's and I sent him a silver buckle for it to. Totally painless and fast work. He did both belts and the replacement straps for the Alfonsos hosters for $350 which is budget for good leather.
