New In Box ASM 1860

What is better than buying a new revolver to add to your collection??? How about buying one putting it in gun case and two yrs later find it. I have no idea how I overlooked it but it's like Christmas for me. This ASM 1860 Colt Army was sold at Gander Mtn, when I don't have a clue. I remember buying this when a local gun shop was closeing their doors. It has never been fired, in fact the nipples are still so new you have to use extra force to set the caps. Now I've just got to decided do I want to keep it or sell it. Pictures are not best but show what a find I have, and it's almost like getting it New again.

It's easy, raise your kids until age 18-20, they move out, support them for another 20yrs. Now 40 + yrs you can do the things you could not when they were sucking the bank account down. Draw back is by this time I'm to old and wore out to enjoy anything

It was nice to find this, took it out this afternoon and it works like it was meant to do. Hate to say it but my health is getting worse and thinking about just listing all my BP guns for sale here on THR. Only took me around 7-8 yrs to collect what I wanted, and can all be gone in one afternoon. Just don't know if the market is there what with the economy like it is.

Sorry to hear about your declining health. Don't let the weather get you feeling to down atop every thing else.

If you do decide to list stuff please give us all a heads up in the hopes of some of your stuff "staying in the family".

When I check the THR trading post for BP stuff (when it rarily comes up) it always seems to go to folks that don't seem to post on the BP boards, go figure, and usually a few weeks before I checked.

Thanks for the positive outlook and support. If I decide to sell I will most defiantly post a listing here in the Black Power section prior to anywhere else. Over the last few years I have received so much positive and informative information here that I do feel that all one this THR board have become as family. If today is any indication of what I have to look forward to I will list sooner than later. Again Thanks guys and gals it means a lot to me
