I am presenting the NRA Pistol Instructor class in the Quad Cities area (actually in Le Claire) on June 12/13, and have been asked to present a class for the new Iowa CCW Permit on the preceeding Friday, June 11. Here are the logistics:
1. There will be two seperate sessions: 1:15pm-5:30pm; and a second session from 5:45pm-10:00pm. (You attend just one session).
2. If you would also like the application material for Utah for a small additional cost, this class meets that requiirement as well; (Please note that the Iowa class is done in its entirety first...general firearms use/safety etc.; then we will do the remaining items required by Utah.)
4. Location: Holiday Inn Express, Le Claire, IA
Participants desiring Iowa materials will receive a certificate indicating that you attended an approved Iowa class on general firearms as required by the new law. (Yes, this class has been approved by the Iowa DPS); those that also wish the Utah material, will receive the Utah application form signed off by me as the instructor, fingerprint card, and all written materials required for Utah.
