I'm the opposite - I just don't like kydex don't have any for my guns. Even my XD's have leather.

Some knives are ok in kydex but not that one.

Christmas Day in March. Received the knife and it is awesome...exceeded my expectations. Steel is 1095 with differential heat treat. OAL is 9.25" with a 4" blade and from one of Running Man Forge's patterns. Handle scales as mentioned are Ironwood. Brass pins and lanyard hole. Sheath is Kydex and I am very happy with it.

Beautiful knife. The sheath is fine, so long as you understand the blade will take scratches from any debris clinging to the blade when sheathed.

Good looking knife!

Suggest to your maker to play around with gluing a very good acid free thin card stock inside the kydex (thin enough to flex) and wax the surface to contact the blade. A very good knife maker friend does this and avoid the kydex scratch problem. Wipe your blade off before sheathing will help as John indicated.
