My new Harvey King knife. His knives are made in Alta Vista, KS just up the road from Todd Davidson who post some of his fine knives on this site. Harvey does do custom orders and are available through B squared archery in Topeka. Dennis the owner of B squared usually has 8-10 diffrent models in stock. This one has a black ash handle with a oversized swell at the base of the handle. This thing fits like a dream very happy.

I look for his knives to go up considerably in price. I was told that he has recently won a few awards and was accepted into a knife makers gild. Anyhow my buddy Dennis who owns B-squared has around 9 more in stock and a standing order for more. Going to pick up a couple more if at all possible. There is another one same profile with black micarta handle very very nice knife for $200.00. It is high on my wants list:D

D2 steel for THAT PRICE IS A STEAL.

I don't know if they have cooties or what, but Queen Cutlery has $50 D2 fixed blades. I dub thee Reviewer, bikerdoc...get one and do a write-up ;)

Conwict my friend,

Agreed that Queen makes a fantastic product in D2, amber bone stag, made in USA, at a great price, But a custom made knife from Mr King is a baragain at $150.00

SOrry for the diversion. I actually didn't mean to compare the Queen to a custom, especially not this custom. I was just pointing that out in case you didn't know it.

Now...I want my review Bikerdoc ;) (seperate thread)

I just sent Mr. King a e-mail asking about a set of custom grips for my Blackhawk .357. I will post what he lets me know about pricing. I really think the pict's I have posted do not due the knife justice. Not a flaw to be found on it. Anyway I think a matching set of pistol grips would be nice as hell.:D

I heard back from Mr. King and he does not do custom grips. He told me that he tried once for a 1911 and he did not like the way they came out. Oh well but still would of made a nice pair.
