William Roscoe of LA precision put this 260 together for me and I couldn't be more pleased. This is one of 2 rifles built to identical specs the other for my partner, only difference is the color.

Specs:
LAP rifles defiance cut action
Bartlein barrel 26"
Manners t4a
Surgeon dbm
Jewel trigger
LAP brake

It's a vortex razor, I have the same scope on my 22 trainer. I really like them. I also have a 1-4 pst. Vortex are great optics with great people standing behind them.

I've got a friend who swears by them, but was curious what your experience was. Sounds just like everyone else...;) Thanks.

There hard to beat for the money. The one on this rifle looks pretty ruff on the outside

Shoots as well as it looks, I have put about 400 rounds through it the last 2 weeks.

awesome rifles and it was great being squadded with you and Greene and Roscoe at the LA PRS match two weeks ago.

i think Roscoe's rifles all shot phenomenally well on the tiny paper stages, and then he put two awesome rifles on the prize table. very cool

i like your choice of gear too. defiance action and the manners stock with the palmswell are great choices. i'm running the mcmillan A5 which looks just like it but wish i had the manners T4A. can't beat the bartlein barrels. i like the surgeon DBM best because of the flange around it that lets me run it up on the barricades without hitting the magazine. you couldn't pay me to run a jewell trigger though :) let me down 1 too many times.

btw, if you guys want to swing by and shoot a little let me know

I'm not gonna lie Tom the jewel has me a little nervous. If it becomes a problem it will have to go!

Nice rifle man. We have very similar tastes. Manners t4, bartlein barrel, 6.5 cal, and a vortex razor. All these features match my rifle, except your bolt is on the wrong side! But hey, who's judging? LOL

Now if we can just convince you to start running a can!

I just picked up my rifle from Stiller's shop a couple weeks ago. Now sports a fresh bartlein. The old shilen that the rifle was sporting went over 4k before I changed it, and I hope this bartlein lasts about the same.

Right on man. I remember waiting for my can to show up. I seems that the paperwork is in limbo for what feels like forever. But they are certainly worth it in the long run.

Keep giving that Razor hell. It has certainly held up fine for me.

Very nice rifle. I'm curious (out of ignorance). What was the rational for the caliber? Im guessing with a custom build that likely you've been dreaming of for a while you've had time to think through the choice. Awesome rifle. How far out do you intend to shoot?

My last match rifle was a 6.5creed so when this opportunity came about for this sponsor gun the choice was easy, the 260 is a good balanced round. With speed caps and alot of matches banning magnum rounds the 260 finds a good home. I wouldn't be against a 243 but I like a little more report of the heavier bullets down range. I took my creedmoor to 1200yds and this rifle is a touch faster than it was so that shouldnt be a problem.
