Hello. I've been lurking here for a while & found this to be an interesting board so I decided to register. The posters here seem pretty cool. Disagreements are civil & there is no trash talking. I like that. I guess an armed fourm is a polite fourm.

I own a few guns & have always been pro gun,pro freedom & pro constitution.

Last week I bought a Ruger P95. I was noot looking for one but I got it used for 255.00. For this price ,I felt it was a lot of gun. It's on the big side for carry but I dont carry much anymore. I live in PA & have a CC permit but I spent a lot of time in NJ because of my job. We all know what Jersey is like as far as guns are concerned.

Thats all for now
Frank

Welcome.

Good buy. @ $225 I couldn't resist either. Don't need one but who said anything about need?

Hi-diddly-ho, neighborino! May your firearm collection prosper and grow, and may the Lord of Armaments smile upon your range sessions.

I hope you find the high road enlightening and entertaining.

Frank - Welcome aboard ... fellow PA shooter!! :)

P95 eh? ... well guess what .... good choice!! And ... it carries just fine ..... tho I have more recently switched to a P97 but .. same shape and weight pretty much. Some say ''fugly'' ... so do I but .... for shere robustness and reliability ..... it gets my vote.

Rock on!!:p

Hey Frank-welcome aboard! I see you resisted what must have been an obvious temptation to start off your first post something like this-"Hi-my name is Frank and I'm a gunaholic." Having a sense of humor and thick skin will enhance your experience at THR. I hope you'll enjoy THR and please spread the word to others!!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I just pulled my new Ruger out & looked at it. It is a P97 DC. It has no external safety......just a decocker. I had it at the range & I like it.
