Anyone still up for a meetup? I managed to schedule Sat 3/5 off from work, and would enjoy seeing you all again. Maybe meet for breakfast (Erich's idea) beforehand? I don't know ABQ that well, so maybe one of you local "social directors" could pick a spot?

If people are up for it, we could meet at Weck's (the one on Louisiana, just S of Montgomery, on the W side of Louisiana) for breakfast beforehand. It's reasonably close to the fairgrounds, and it's not in a bad area. Their prices aren't bad and their portions are enormous - and we'll all need our strength for walking those aisles all morning. :)

What time, though? 8:00?

Well, it'll still be great to see you for b-fast.

I might be doing something similar: if my wife has to go up to SF to testify in front of Senate Judiciary again, I'll go to the show. If she'll actually be around for the first time in a while, I'll probably just go to breakfast and blow off the show. Veimos . . .

Tijeras Slim, Bill, 13.45, Black Elk, SMLE, GaryK/NM, NMShooter - thanks for coming! It was good seeing you all, and I hope you all did well at the show. Gina and I are having a nice day at home together. :) It's good to see her.

I absolutly HATE going to a gun show broke. :(

Saw a fair condition ShtLE MkV for $495.00 ARRGGGHHH :banghead:

Spent all of $5.00 on a Lee Enfield khaki action cover. Found a box full of 11 round Beretta 96 mags for $30.00 each, though about buying one, but passed.

Breakfast was great, good food good coffee and good company. :D

I found a new Tyler T Grip adapter for my Model 27.

Saw the exact same pre-21 as in October. Once again it was the only thing on the guy's table that didn't have a price tag so I didn't ask.

It was great meeting everyone, and I'm looking forward to doing some shooting with you.

it was great meeting you gents at breakfast, and i found a nice cross-draw holster for my vaquero sheriff's model ;)

We need to get together sometime when folks have the time to sit around and BS.

I enjoyed meeting all of you.

:)

I'm going to be at the Village Inn on Central Ave. just East of San Mateo this Thursday at about 6:00pm. I'm meeting a few other friends there, but they're all THR material. The more the merrier!

Of course being the kind of people *I* hang out with, they're also a little nuts. (in a good way of course.)

PS; Erich, I've invited Ben Luther, I saw him at the show Sat.

Actually, I like their food and their coffee is fair. Also, VICorp is totally neutral on CCW. I have an e-mail from their corporate office stating that they have no issues with lawful carry in their resturants. For that alone, I think they have earned a few buck of my business.

Thanks for writing with your concerns.

Our elected representatives, after due consideration of the issues, have
determined the rules governing the lawful carrying of firearms. Vicorp does
not choose to become involved in this matter by second-guessing actions of
our legislators or the law enforcement officials who enforce the law.

And until you try their choclate truffle pie, you don't know what you're missing. :D

I havent been to the gun show in years, used to help out a buddy in a booth. Spent hours walking around, collecting goodies.
I spent a few years looking for 41AE brass after the purchase of my Jerico 941

Have fun and get what you want...
