It’s that time again, time for the Premier San Antonio Gun Show!

As many of you know, this is the biggest/best gun show in Central Texas and perhaps the best in the state! Over 1000 tables and one of the best venues in the area. It will get crowded but the promoters keep the aisles wide enough for everyone to walk and see what’s on the tables!

Dates are 18 – 19 May, location is the Freeman Expo Hall next to the AT&T Center where the Spurs play (3201 East Houston Street). Doors open Saturday at 9am and Sunday at 10am. General admission is $8, cash only; weekend passes are $12, cash only; children UNDER 12 and Uniformed Peace Officers are free!

Public parking is $5 per vehicle (it’s a city lot, so the promoters have no control over this).

A group of us meet up for breakfast beforehand at 8am on Saturday not far from the show at Teran’s (4403 E Houston St), some of the best Mexican food in town! Feel free to join us if you’re interested!

At a gun show here last weekend Saturday was busy. Sunday was a snooze fest.

We went this morning and it was another excellent show. While there was a good-sized crowd, it was still easy to move amongst the tables unlike the other SA show which has less tables and much more narrower aisles!

Ammo prices are still a tad high but there were some deals to be found, and there were lots of guns for sale and prices on them are dropping.

I didn't get anything but at least two of my buddies found deals on a Ruger LC9 with a Crimson Trace grip and a Kimber Ultra Carry II.

If anyone is still undecided about going to this show, I would strongly recommend it. It is definitely the best run show in the area and worth the time!
