New National Parks Rules and Are Park Buildings Federal Buildings?

That postal regulation really sucks. I used to stick my pistol under the seat or something when I went in the post office, but that may not be good enough. Courts could decide that you are constructively carrying a gun when it is in your car (many states interpret "carry" this way), and sticking it under the seat may be storing the pistol on postal property under the regs.

That reg needs to go.

The whole "...in or on such property." is painful, too. It implies that one cannot be carrying in one's one vehicle when parking the car to enter the PO. It suggests that one must disarm prior to entering the property, which is difficult, to say the least.

Be careful!!!

I'm surprised no one has brought up the fact that some national parks with the same name can cover more than one state. You can visit Yellowstone and be in Idaho, Montana or Wyoming...all in the same park. Not sure what the carry/reciprocity laws are in those three states but, again, be careful. And Death Valley...in Nevada AND California. WORLDS of differences in the carry laws between those states.
