New old rifle! Pics.

Oh man. I saw one of these on consignment at a local gun store. I was sorely tempted to buy it since it was a really handy little carbine. I decided not to because I'd already sort of blown my fun budget for the month and I knew it was going to be really hard to find the enbloc clips (it took me a long time to get some for my Steyr M95 and the Berthier clips are even harder to find). Now you have me wishing I'd made the jump. I may just have to head back there....

I got the en blocs really easily. I'm going to get my brother( I don't reload....yet) to down load some 8mm Lebel for me. It really is a very handy little carbine. I just wish it was in something more common then 8mm Lebel.

I got the en bloc clips today. They are 5 round but they will work in my three round carbine. They just stick out a little. Now to find some ammo!
