Picked this up yesterday, and by far the tightest CZ I own! The slide to frame fit is like a top end 1911. The DA trigger is terrible, but the SA isn't to bad. I swapped in a 17# mainspring, and it helped a bunch. The SA now breaks at 4.5#, and should lighten up after some shooting. I was kinda hoping it would fit in my G23 holster, but the slide catch is in the way, and it bows out. Don't wanna ruin the retension for my Glock. Hope this shoots as well as my other two CZs, we'll find out this weekend:)

my friend has 1500 rounds thru his and it shoots sweat.I shoot my new p95 a little better than he shoots his p01 but he needs to learn to shoot better. My p95 and the p01 are really close as far as accuracy for me.

JDGray,

My SP has a 15# mainspring and I checked several fired cases last week for primer indention. the 15lb'er gives deep strikes and in nearly 600 rounds I have had no ignition problems.

What I am trying to say is the 15# mainspring will lower the DA and SA even more (than the 17#). The action will smooth itself with time (as you well know) and you will end up with a sweet action for just the cost of the mainspring.

Yeah, I've seen alot of people running 15# springs. May need a 3 pack:D Thanks for the heads up:)

I think you'll find that the PO1 will out perform any auto ever produced by Ruger. Actually it will run past many other designs as well.
If you're happy with swapping out springs, thats great, the factory trigger on mine smoothed out superbly after about 500-600 rounds.
Honestly, I think if your pistol is similar to mine, you'll almost be shocked at how it groups at the twenty-five yard line. If you would've told me at thanksgiving that I was buying a compact-9 that could put 5-rounds into an inch at 25yds I would've laughed in your face....Mine came home for only $489.00. Just a great buy!
