I have seen it every where except the store and here. Anyone had the pleasure of seeing a Heckler & Koch P30 yet. If so please put up some pictures and do a review. I am so interested in hearing more about this gun. There are spec's on the hk website. So i am assuming it was approved by BATF. Any info please share. Thanks ahead.

I've only had the chance to hold it once. It felt extremely comfortable and well balanced in my hands. The trigger felt good to me, but I'm not spoiled by tuned 1911 triggers and such, so I don't really know how a "good" trigger pull is supposed to feel. I also like the looks a lot, but that is a personal matter. I always wanted either a USP or a P2000, but now I'm thinkung about buying a P30 instead. I'd love to shoot it first though, so I hope someone I know buys it first and lets me try it out:D

PS: I don't know when it will be available in the US. I saw it in Germany.

Well, the HK45 will be released first, from what I have heard - in another 2-3 months is the word. We may have to wait until the 3rd or 4th quarter on the P30. Not sure...

Correct. According to what the Hk rep told me, the Hk45 is slated for a mid summer release with the P30 sometime in last quartser of this year.
I really like my HK pistols but ust don't really see the big deal with these new models, the P30 mostly. maybe it's me but there's just not that much different being offered by the P30 that isn't already offered by the P2000. I'll very ikely pass on that and look into the Hk45C

Well, I like to avoid sub 4" barrels, except if it is a carry gun. My carry gun is a P99 compact. I broke that rule for my USPc, but I never shoot as well w/ a gun under 4". So, I'd love to have a P20. The P2000 is still under 4"

Isn't this the same pistol everyone was calling the P3000 last year? If so, I wonder why H&K decided to go with P30 instead? Gee, It's been a very long time since I been on the hkpro forum, I need to keep up more on these things.:D

I'm guessing the US will see it sometime later this year & probably a year or so later, us here in the PRK will see them too -- I hope :scrutiny:
