On a trip to Central Texas, I visited my son at Sprotman's Warehouse in Round Rock.
I looked at a 5.5 inch Redhawk. It is really nice. But they had a closeout on a 4 inch Taurus Model 44 fot $329. Both the SA and DA trigger on the 44 were much nicer than the Redhawk.
So, the M44 followed me home. I have snap caps in it and am consistently working on the smoothness of the trigger pull.
I really do not need a 44M revolver but lawdy, lawdy, it is nice. It will go to the range this weekend
