I'm deeply disapointed! It still has the front of the trigger guard and a hammer spur...

actually I may be doing that

No...not to the DB. I found a Detective Special that is mechanically outstanding but UGLY.

Painted black and beat up. I was going to drop it in the bead blaster and perhaps Fitz it before I parkerize it

Undecided at this point. I gave another guy 1st dibs on it @ 175 bucks

wow, that is within 25 bucks of what I paid for it

Better than Enron stock but certainly no "investment"

Assume for second that the previous owner was the first; all he or she did was break even. But, even that ain't bad. Besides guns, there're not too many things you can buy, use for 31 years and then sell for nearly full retail. Point being, you should be able to do the same, and then some.

RB Bob

While I see why folks like them, it does fill the hand better, it does not point as naturally for me.

I have nothing against them, they are just not for me.

Got it boxed up and ready to go

Will drop it in the mail today

Might take a little while for snail mail to get it all the way to you in Canada :neener:

beauty,

I love the Diamondback, it was my first handgun, when I was 10. mine was a blue 4in but man, I remember it to this day and want it back! I will pick up a snub like yours someday or another 4in. I have it's big brother now, the 6in Royal Blue Python.

I'd love to have it <the Tyler T>. It'll probably fit one of my J-frames or K-frames.

Maybe . . . They did produce different model T grips for J-frame, K-frames, and the Colt D-frame for a reason.

I have one of each. I don't think they're interchangeable. I can take my D-frame T-grip and try to see if it fits a Smith. That is if Guillermo hasn't put it in the mail yet. If it's already been sent off . . . . it won't matter.

You're right Ken. After reading your comment, I got on the horn with the guy at Tyler and he confirmed they were not interchangeable because of different widths. He said you could put them on but the copper tabs might wear out prematurely.

So...if Guillermo has already put it in the mail...I guess I'm going to have to find a Colt to fit my T-Grip. :)

If he hasn't, perhaps there is someone here that could make better use of them.

That's pretty much what I thought. I never tried swapping them around on the different guns, but I figured if they were interchangeable the company wouldn't bother tooling up to make and continue to list different models.

I've got 3 Colt D-frames and only one T-grip. I'd give it a working home.

Want to trade for a nice a cigar?

nah

Don't smoke em. Besides...it is a small kindness.

And I TRULY believe that this kind of thing comes back to you.

Besides, I hate waste...it would be sitting in a box of unused gun stuff at my house. This way you can enjoy it
