I have been looking for a Smith Chief Special 9 to add to my new "addiction" my Gen 3 smith collection. Last night I won a Blued CS9 in 98% condition. I plan on carrying the heck out of this gun so I want to purchase all the right gear. My two worries are the thickness of the stock hogue grips (from reading different posts) and finding the "perfect" IWB holster. I was wondering if anyone knew a place I could get custom wood or aluminum grips made for the gun? I figure someone should be able to modify a set of hogue wood grips from a larger Smith 9 to fix the CS9 as I've seen post of people modifying factory fullsized grips to fit. The second part is the holster. I bought a Don Hume 715 IWB for my 3913LS and find it way too thick so for the mean time that gun has been set aside. I want to keep this package as thin and concealable as possible. I was thinking maybe a bladetech IWB, or the leather First A1.

Sorry for all the questions guys but I want to get this setup right the first time.

Here is a link to the gun auction I won.
