Has anyone seen these out yet? I have my dies adjusted, so I'm not sure how tempted I would be to get these, although I love the Redding quality. I always notice setting up the crimp die on my LNL that you need to adjust for the tension of having a case being sized vs doing one at a time.

I adjust my crimp with spacers. I set them up for a heavy crimp and use spacers to get less crimp. I record what spacers, if any, are used in a load.

An adjustable crimp die would be handy.

If you knock the carbide ring out of a Lee FCD pistol die, it is now an adjustable crimp die, although you would have to make your own marks. Yea, yea, it was adjustable before you knock out the ring. :p

One of the few uses that I have found for the Lee o-ring lock ring was on some of my taper crimp dies. It allows me to adjust the crimp, actually the amount of case mouth belling removal, without any tools.

It will be interesting to see what Redding has come up with.

:) You got to give Richard Lee credit for quite a few good ideas. Walkalong, you'd really remove the post sizing ring? Why? With your reloads it wouldn't touch anything anyway. :D

Personally, this is one gadget that I am going to pass on. I try to AVOID crimping, whenever possible! I've always felt a crimp wasn't needed, and actually worked negatively towards accuracy. I can see a need in heavy recoiling situations and some semi-autos. Just my opinion.

I wouldn't spend the money if you aren't having any problems with you current taper crimp die.
