I've been reading books and info on this forum for several months now. I finally started reloading a couple of weeks ago and have worked up target loads for 9mm and 40 S&W so far. I'm working with a Lee Classic Turret and Lee dies, with a primer feed and Pro Auto disk powder measure. I also had to build a bench and got many useful ideas from the bench thread.

Just wanted to let you guys (and gals as appropriate) know how much I appreciate the wealth of info I've found here. I know there is no real substitute for actual experience, but after reading through the majority of the posts on this forum I felt pretty confident when I finally starting setting up and loading.

So far, so good... enjoying the new hobby.

I agree with Branded. I've not reloaded yet (waiting on parts sitting in on a UPS truck in Memphis, TN due to the snow), but I've been doing some significant reading and this forum has a wealth of knowledge that has made the learning so much easier.

Looking forward to doing my first reload next weekend.

welcome to handloading and the thr. just remember, the only stupid question is the one not asked.

I gotta echo the others. I have been reading a lot here getting ready to begin handloading. I have supplies in the mail as well as loading books and the ABCs of Reloading. The only things I still have to get are powder & primers - shipping is a problem from most online sources and Alaska. But I used a calculator I found here on THR and even using basic components from Sportsman's Warehouse allows for some nice numbers.

I am looking forward to the relaxation of a new hobby as well as being able to shoot more for the same price - I don't imagine I will really save any money. But I do hope to see improvement as I shoot more and more often.
