got myself one of these nice boys
8 mags, cleaning kit and a sling, rifle was 600 and came with 4 mags, bought a muzzle break and 4 more mags for about 200$ more.
So far it feels very very solid, the reciever is very well machined and all the parts including the bolt carrier, locking lug, striker are all made of a very strong metal. Feels like a tank compared to my AR which still feels awesome but not nearly as tough.
The selector switch has 1, (no mark), and 30 positions. It will switch to the 30 position but it acts as the (no marking) setting which is safe. The reciever has some interesting weld marks and it looks like the striker has been modified, I can only assume that it was an original FA reciever in which they made into a semi auto only at the factory.
The bolt locks back on an empty mag, and there is a bolt catch button for catching the bolt only (no release) right beside the mag release.
Action is very smooth and feels very strong/tight, the handguard and grips are made up of wood chips compressed in glue and hardened.. lol.
I took the rifle apart tonight for the first time, didn't dissasemble the trigger group (yet) as I'm just too tired, I spent the last hour trying to re-assemble the recoil spring guide/assembly... Think of it like the sks recoil guide/spring assembly when you take it apart. Remember how hard that was to put back together? this is about twice as hard lol.
These are a big deal up here in canada, and I thought I would share these pics and any others you guys may request as I havent found many pictures at all of this rifle in this forum.
Havent shot it yet, but when I do I'll be feeding it czech surplus, berdan primed corrosive steel jacketed ammunition, 700 rounds of it when I can.
