They don't have to comply with 922. I can't remember exactly why but, thats why the factory romanian rifles have the pinned on brakes and the bayonet lug is ground down. They don't remove the entire bayonet lug post they just grind the locking wings off the sides. On the century rifles it is all factory and on the kit guns you can still have threaded on barrels and bayonet lugs that do more than hold the cleaning rod as they are domestically manufactured. I believe that rifles imported for sporting purposes can't have bayonet lugs and threaded barrels to put scary flash hiders. I know for a fact my rifle was all factory romanian parts.

J and G 750

I have been looking at the same rifle from J&G they have a location in Prescott AZ and i have been meaning to get up there to take a look. However with the Romak-3 there seems to be a lot of controversy surrounding it. One statement is that it doesn't nearly have the accuracy of its Russian (SVD) or Chinese (NDL-89) counterparts. However i will tell you that this firearm has more than enough support behind it. Marksmen have done a fair research and have concluded that all of the "Dragunov" variants have a 6 MOA at 600 meters (full length not including civilian Tiger witch is 4'' shorter). If you are considering a PSL-54C like I am go ahead a watch this video on youtube. the link will be below.

Keep in mind the shooter is using 7.62X54R surplus light ball ammunition with 147 grain. Just something to look at if you are aspiring to get a Romak-3 like I am.

Quaid

I own an SVD - no, not a Tiger - and PSL. They are most certainly comparable. The SVD has a better trigger, but the PSL can go toe to toe in actual combat with the SVD.

(Yeah, I know, its a resurrected post, but heck, why not?)

LOL
6MOA @ 600meters = 6" :cuss:

Would that not be more like a 39" Group?

1 MOA is about 1.05" per 100yards

So

1MOA @ 50yards = 1/2" (about)
1MOA @ 100yards = 1" (about)
1MOA @ 600yards = 6" (about)
6MOA @ 600yards = 36" (about)

6MOA @ 660yards (about 600meters) = 39" (about)

I would really like to own one someday. Right now I can't afford it tho. Let us know how it shoots
