I'm a big Ruger fan I own Redhawks, Blackhawks, a GP100, P345, P90, SP101, etc.
But I am sorely disappointed, it didn't really beat out the Glock 26 or 27 it seems. The Taurus PT 709 Slim may be a far better choice. Granted I'm looking at it for a pocket gun. If it's not fairly smaller than a Glock 26 I don't see the point. The manual safety, long DAO trigger pull, only 7+1, not a definite pocket pistol....I'm disappointed. I was holding out now I might as well just go and get a Glock 27, from what I've read in Combat Handguns the shorter barrel still offers 1100fps with Federal 155 JHP loads. Ruger, I love your revolvers and will get a Super Redhawk .454 in the future but I'm skipping your LC9. Oh and a make a 5" barrel 10mm version of your P345.
