I might have to buy one after reading all this bull crap. If it doesn't sell, it might be another Ruger collectible.

As for the .38 being dead? Well, I have 3 .38s and NO .40 Short and Weaks. I don't have anything against the .40, it's just that .38 and 9mm get the job done and in smaller guns with faster recovery time.

my $0.02

I think that Ruger make great revolvers, so I'm not going to discount this gun.

Ruger needed a light, pocket revolver. Their sp101 is a great little gun, but I've seen a lot of folks rip on it, saying that it was too heavy for their concealed carry needs. Ruger finally listened and decided to do something unusual to make a light, pocket revolver that is a little easier to shoot than the competition. The fact that it is a polymer revolver doesn't really turn me off. Someone was going to eventually do this. I actually think that some small European company may have already tried this, but I can't remember the name of the gun. Anyways, everyone thought the HK and Glock were crazy to make plastic autoloaders. We all know how that turned out. I'm sure that you'll eventually start seeing more and more polymer framed revolvers.

if it stays together, and they can sell it way under a J frames price, they will do ok.
