By the way, I hate the warnings too, and so does everybody at Ruger I've ever talked to.

I'm waiting to see a snub nosed ruger with "RTFM" stamped on it. :neener:

I believe you just can't blindly support manufacturers who do things in the name of "litigation insurance" (Yes, the Ruger text is very easy to ignore but I am addressing the principle here)

So I'm guessing that this allpies to everything you buy then. You must not buy medicine (has warnings), anything eletronic (has warnings) and many other common items we see, buy and use everyday. You must live in a cave and make all toys and grow your own food and have all herbal medicines. Oh of course you do, otherwise, there'd just be too much hipocricy(sp?).

BlkHwk73,

I'll clarify my statement for the "context challenged." When I said "manufacturers" I was referring to GUN manufacturers. Your argument about medicinal/toy labeling doesn't really apply because last time I checked that wasn't covered in the Bill of Rights or the 2nd Amendment. My point was to describe a HYPOTHETICAL perversion of our legal system where liberties guaranteed in the 2nd amendment begin to erode in the name of "litigation insurance." It's an exaggerated situation to illustrate a point.
