I've been wanting to add a couple of new smiths to my small but growing collection. The first is a new model 36 (nickel plated) I think they are beautiful little guns. The second is a new model 360 m&p for a ccw. The 36 will be a casual shooter at best, and most likely will spend more time in the safe than anything else. My question is are these new smiths worth looking into purchasing or should I just hold out and go with some older/cheaper smiths? I've read some stuff about how the new smiths just don't stack up against the older ones fit,finish,RELIABILITY,ect... Just wondering what the vast knowledge of the THR members has to say about this. Thanks in advance!:D

I have alot of old Smith & Wessons and some new ones. The new ones shoot every bit as good as the old ones. If you can live with the lock I wouldn't worry.
