There should be a rule against having ammo in the house you don't own a gun for. With several cases of 20 and 28 gauge shotgun shell laying around for a couple of years I decided that rather than sell the ammo I should buy guns to use them with. While perusing Gunbroker I came across this...

Stoeger Uplander Supreme Combo in 20/28ga. Long story short I placed my bid and won it this morning for what I felt was a great price. English stock in American walnut, the 20 gauge barrels uses choke tubes while the 28 is chocked IC/Mod. This should be just the ticket for quail and doves as well as the occasional clays games.

I wonder what other ammo is hanging around...thought I saw some 30-06 the other day.....

Nice!

I have a similar affliction. Grabbing ammo I ddin't have anything chambered in because the price was too good to pass up. That way, the guns are easily justified later.

I have owned so many different guns that I have sold but still have ammo for it is silly. Because I reload almost everything I shoot I don't let ammo go with the guns...too much of a liability headache. There's probably a couple dozen calibers hanging out in my junk ammo boxes right now.
