They are nice, but I gotta admit I think the current laminated factory ones are pretty sharp- especially when they have a more grayscale look to them.

Has your Python had some extra polishing done to it as well? Sure is shiny!

Thanks, nope on the polishing it came like that from the factory.

I was gonna ask the question, but Electricmo beat me to it.

I'm kinda diggin' the smooth look over the traditional checkered.

I wholly disagree! A Python deserves better that dyed birch. Something like walnut, rosewood, or ebony.

Sad to say, I have Pachmayrs on my 6" PPC Python and Hogue on my 4" IDPA gun.
But those are what has worked well for me actually shooting.
The Pachmayrs feel bulky now although they were better than factory, I have a Hogue to substitute.

Now that you mentioned it he didn’t mention anything about paying for them. Maybe he bought the grips and they came with a Python attached?
