I've read reviews of the Defender, which looks like the previous name of the same gun. Seems the shooters liked it- it's great for smaller hands.
As I read about it, it looked rather like they realized that the .45GAP isn't going anywhere, so they decided to make it available in .40S&W and 9x19, both of which will sell pretty well. One of those in .40S&W might well be a very nice CCW piece for somebody who found a compact 1911 a bit big.
