Recently got a small frame .38 taurus for my girlfriend. It does not come with adjustable sight and shoots to the left. Are there sights for this revolver or do I need to look into grip laser??
A lot of fixed-sight revolvers are off a little; that's one good reason to practice with them, to know whether it shoots an inch or two high or low or left or right at 15 yards (or whatever).
And as Glockman says, someone new to shooting may make a lot of errors (the most common I've seen is shooting low from pulling too hard on the trigger, thereby dropping the muzzle).
I apologize, should have been more specific with details. At 7 yrds she was shooting about 6 inches laft about 2 inches low I was only about 3 left and 1 low. In the process of getting new grips for her to be more comfortable, ones that allow all fingers on the grip. I think that will cure alot of her problem. Had her shooting single action first to get used to pistol, but she shot about the same sa and da. Thanks again for feedback.
I would try Pachmayer Compact Grips to start. Then try different types of ammo. All so it takes a lot of practice to shoot a snub accurately because of the short sight radius.
