New to AR-15, When I chamber a round then eject it the primer is dented

I would look at some chambered and ejected rounds from that rifle, and compare the primer dent to the picture of the same that you can find at the ammo oracle. The picture at the ammo oracle is "normal". If your dents are noticeably bigger than that, since you've already confirmed that your pin is really free floating and not stuck forward, I would guess that the recoil spring is throwing the bolt forward faster than in a normal AR15.

If that is the case, I wouldn't be too pleased about it, and would suspect that major aftermarket modification could have the potential to cause this exact kind of situation. I would hope that a designer of such a system would take that into account.
