There was a crummy little gun show today. I went because I needed primers and there's always a vendor who sells 'em for 30% less than the store. Was not even going to look at guns. Sigh . . .
I now own a S&W Model 14-3, 6". Serial number is 8K76xxx. It's been shot some and the bluing is a little worn at the muzzle. The rest of the finish is in good shape, timing seems OK, and the cylinder is tight. Bore is bright and sharp. The DA trigger is smooth and the SA is very crisp. Best of all, I bought it for $239 including the background check. This gun was in my "buy it if you see it" list.
The only bad thing, is I'm going back to work tomorrow and won't be able to shoot it 'til Wednesday. Hope I can sleep.
