You and me both Blarby! I have yet to find one and I have looked hard! Like I said, I have a 600 jr, but that Lee Load All is a good press. It all depends on what you want to do with it.

The fact that it is plastic turns people off, but look at all of the polymer handguns. I have a couple and was kind of skeptical myself, but that polymer has held up to anything I can throw at it, just like the Lee Load All.

The mec comes with no sizing option

That would be totally incorrect - The Jr. uses a sizing ring while the progressives use a collet system.

I have found, bought, traded, and sold MEC Jr.s all day long on Craig's List and at several local gun clubs on the bulletin boards. I have no need for a bazillion bushings and they are cheap as are the bars. My MECs are 35 years old and still going strong; my LLA was worn out and breaking after less than a year.

The fact that it is plastic turns people off, but look at all of the polymer handguns.

Quite a difference between the styrene of the Lee and the nylon polymer of the Glock......

If you are paying for things from BPI you are getting ripped off at $29. I find them at gun shows and garage sales for about $1

Guess you need to shop around better.......

From the Lee web site:

Convert Aluminum Base to Nylon Base
Posted by Steph @ Lee Precision on 19 December 2011 10:58 AM
The new Load All II base is hi-impact nylon and has removable shellplates for different gauges.

To convert from the Aluminum base to the new nylon base, you would need the following parts:
LA1063 Base
LA2378 Shell Plate
FT2451 (qty. 2) Fastener
FL1077 Column Fastener

I thought the newer ones are all nylon. I have to ask, what parts broke? I'm not saying your wrong, but I can not, for the life of me, see what just plain wore out or broke after 1 year. I have a lot of rounds through that lee of mine and it just keeps on putting out nice looking shells. Maybe your misfortune can help others prevent the same issues.

s far as Craigs List, I look in the surrounding 200 miles of my house and there is rarely a mec on there and it is always way more than $50 . It mirrors EvilBay in the costs.

Whatever works man... I know I'm not changing what I do because it works.
