hey all,

this is my first post, just wanted to say hello

i am currently the (proud) owner of a Springfield Armory Mil-spec 1911a1 in OD Green, a S.A. XD40 4" in black, a very old break action single shot .410, and a 1943 6.5mm Carcano

looking forward to many gun discussions with all of you guys (and girls!)

Welcome!

You've found one of the few places where a "polite society is an armed society" (Had to. Sorry :neener: )

Jwhisler,

Welcome to the forums, you have the start to a fine collection there.

When we get together, make mine Guinness and .45acp.

Now about your sig tag.

You really should give credit to the author, Father Dennis Edward O'Brien.

OOPs, I see that you did, Sorry.

Welcome aboard,
DM

SO how do you like that Springfield? I got me one in stainless, and love it to death

i fell in love with it when i first laid eyes on it. i got it NIB for my mini14, and besides my friend and his dad, im the only one to fire it

I just found another credit for the poem.

Charles M. Province
