New to thr...

[Q-Lock]

Hello everyone,
This is officially my first post after browsing through the forums for a few weeks. Tons of useful information in here; I find myself looking through here on my free time as much as possible.
I just went to a gun show this past weekend and bought a Mosin Nagant 91/30 to add to my collection...which sadly enough, only consists of 3 guns: yugo sks 59/66, ruger mk2 target model, and the 91/30. I still cant figure out if I want a cz-p01 (if i can find one) or an xd40 for my ccw. Obviously that includes the choice of 9mm or .40 cal.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi to all and thanks for all the great info on here.

I get cases of .22lr free. That's what happens when your best friend runs a gun shop and you fill in for him on occasion. Of course, I go through more 9mm and .300WSM than .22lr, but hey. Never look a gift horse in the ... ummm.. which end was it?

As for choosing the CCW piece...I'm leaning toward the CZ in terms of feel and looks (it just feels so much better than the XD in my hand). I've only held the RAMI 9mm in person before though and I love the way it feels but i'm also interested in the cz compact .40 cal. Now i just have to find a place to rent them so I can test out my theories. 9mm or .40.....i just cant decide.

Welcome to The High Road, Quinten! Nothing sad about three guns. Heck, there are fewer than 300 million guns in the United States as of last year—that's fewer than one for every man, woman and child in the country. You've got three—you're ahead!

On that NGBTA thing: cheap 12-ga. practice ammo or a brick of .22LR will do nicely, thanks.
