I Picked up LNIB Walther P5compact for $850 from the local seller last week. It was interarm import marking. It received minor scratches from rubbing inside box, but seems unfired.
I already have HK p7M8 as my favorite, but wanted something that is less hassel to clean and more conventional in design.
Anyway, what a neat pistol!

Heres what I think of it in case anyone care:

Pro:

-Extremely safe design.
-combination Slide release and decocker.
-Front and rear locking barrel.
-Smooth single stage trigger pull in double or single action.
-Windage adjustable rear sight.
-very slim grip.
-It's Walther.

Con"
-Alloy frame.
-Rather wide slide for a compact gun.
-No loaded indicator.

P.S. Does anyone know where I can get Factory Smooth wooden grips? If not where is best place to buy Nill grips?

Earl's repair service's grip is same grip sold by Nill's.

having that said, here is the comparison.

Earl's repair service

$165

Buying directly from Sales lady with charming German accent at Nills USA.

$85

Knowing that you weren't Ripped off

PRICELESS

I bought stippled walnut frip from Nills today. They also had smooth grip. Curious to know what it would've looked like.

I recently got hold of a P5 standard size and I'm enjoying it a lot. Mine has a distinct three stage pull on single action though: first some take-up, then the increased resistance for raising the firing pin, then finally the actual sear resistance. Only takes a little dry fire practice with it to get used to however. I also discovered Doris at Nill U.S.A. Nice woman to do business with--I bought the stippled grips for mine too.--Leigh
