New XDm coming from Springfield soon.....

Any guesses on what it will be?

I'm guessing either a .45 3.8 version, or a .45 3.8 compact, or both.

My second guess would be a single stack 9mm.

New XDM?

The XDMs are great guns, I have had 3 of them, but that aside, Springfields marketing strategy is a pretty simple one, first they release the standard/fullsize, then the 3.8, then the 3.8 compact, they used the same formula for both the 9mm and .40, chances are good its a .45 3.8 being announced with a 3.8 compact to follow shortly thereafter. I would like to see them produce a 10mm version, if they do decide on a single stack, in keeping with the whole XDM theme (Xtra this, More of that) the 50 GI caliber would be an interesting choice, or they could could go in another direction and be the first major manufacturer to make a polymer framed compact double stack .380

the 380 Grendel was one of the first DS polymer 380s.. then the glock 28 (can't get in USA)..

it's going to be a 45 3.8, then the compact.. if it's anything else, i'd really be surprised..
