I'm sorry, I've looked for any source of info on this injunction that was supposed to go into effect on the 29th of April if New York couldn't show it was constitutional.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_Safe_Act "On February 28, 2013, the New York State Supreme Court issued an order saying that the state must show that the law does not violate the constitution. If the state is unable to do so, the court will issue an injunction against its implementation on April 29, 2013"

Does anyone know what the update on that is? It'd be appreciated if someone knew.

According to this, the decision was delayed until June. We are talking about the NYSRPA lawsuit, right? It's hard to keep track.

Nope, he's asking about the Tresmond lawsuit, filed on the basis that the process of passing the law violated the NYS constitution. The case has been pushed back to Friday, May 3rd.

Thanks to both of you. I was actually asking about the NYSRPA one but thanks for letting me know about the Tresmond one. I couldn't remember where the one I was looking for came from, so now I'll check into the NYSRPA one. Mods I got my answer and I'll take this threat down in a few days but since there might be others like me I ask you leave it up for a bit.

Thanks from me also. I've been watching this and just finished giving another 25 bucks to the NYSRPA. The only thing NY state understands is money so with enough money I'm sure something could be accomplished. The corruption in Albany is enough to make you sick. Some of those folks have already been charged with various bribery charges. I'd like to see a few more of them headed for jail.
