I have heard it is not good to store you gun with the firing pin cocked.
If the fore-end of the 870 is pulled back (chamber open) is there still tension?
Would I need snap caps?
P.S. - As some of you know I chipped in to get a Beretta O/U for my dad's b-day.. Anywho the instruction manual said to use snap caps when storing... Good idea?
