Yep The Russians had one that did that. It was an extreme pain to reset.

Also the Chinese have had a knife with a 4 barreled .22 as part of it for over 15 years. It has a part of the guard rigged to act as a sight. The other end of the guard acts as the trigger.

Maybe we should reduce the restrictions on this one? The bad guys would not know if the victim he had chosen had ONLY a knife, or a VICIOUS knife gun?

I would be more concerned with the blade than the .22 it fires. Disguising one deadly weapon as another also is not a huge threat to police, maybe a minor one at best. Legaly it is a gun, so all laws apply. That knife is also far from something a cop is not going to take notice of and be concerned about. I think it just caters to the emotional buildup of the target audience of the story. A deadly knife, (heart skips a beat) that is really a gun! (rapid heart beat and breathing) "Honey did you hear about that?! They really need to take those deadly things of the street. To think they are legal for all those gang members to carry around.(as if firearms are legal for felons or criminal acts :banghead: ) We need some laws to stop this kind of nonsense!" "Yes dear. The best accuracy of the .22 fired from one of those, you'd have to be close enough to stab anyway. So, I don't really understand the point. That's about as pointless as a WMD that showers the area with paintballs.
