Why havent I seen this in the mainstream news. I thougth that I read several places that it was not an AR that lanza used at newtown.

There are several very early reports which keep being repeated when the press was still reporting multiple handguns as the murder weapons. The M.E.'s comments to date have been entirely that the wounds were all made with a rifle. There has been nothing substantive yet to rebut that.

The official reports in cases like this often take quite a while to prepare. Several months is not unusual. Before that, officials will usually be quite careful not to release incomplete info just to satisfy public curiosity.

Why hasnt the newtown coroners report been advertised on the major networks about no ar having been used in the shooting?

Because that was a hoax I believe. Snopes said it was an ar.

Man, get over it. These are the same people who have wanted to ban "assault weapons" for 20 years and the shooting has nothing to do with it.

Because the coroner said EVERY single death, except the shooter's, was caused by the "long rifle."

The pro-2A side of the argument is not advanced at all by people holding their hands over their ears and humming loudly whenever inconvenient facts are aired. Attributing inconvenient facts to secret conspiracies does ever less for our side.

They said on the radio today that the official report won't be released until June.

Ok. There's the actual answer. The Coroner's report won't be released until June, so that's why you haven't read it yet.
