Both are the same materials and quality. I'm more partial to the CQC-8 myself just due to overall feel. See if you can handle them side by side and go with the one that just feels best to you. I doubt either one would let you down.
I've got an Emerson CQC-11 BTS for bidding on E-Bay with 3 days left. It's the one with the Tan background. I'll try to get the item # for you, but if you do a search for CQC-11, I'm sure you'll see it.
