Can a Illinois corporation with executives holding C&R licenses obtain NFA items and would this bypass the need for CLEO sign off. Thanks

No.
It doesn't matter what licenses the "executives" hold, if a corporation wishes to possess an NFA firearm it would need to hold an FFL itself.

Only individuals are issued 03FFL's (Collector of Curios and Relics)

I wonder, could the corporation set up a corporate trust naming the execs as trustees, for the purpose of acquiring NFA goodies??

In Illinois you need a CR license to obtain/build a SBR. My wife is a doctor With a PC set up we both have CRs. Thought there might be a work around to the CLEO sign off. Thank you.

Illinois requires anyone who wants to obtain a SBR to have a CR lic or be and active members of a reenactment group. No other NFA items are covered by this resent change in Illinois law.
