I'm sorry if this has been asked repeatedly before, I couldn't find it.
I currently live in Nevada, a pretty gun friendly state. There is a good chance that two years from now I will have to move to another state. I won't know which state, but it could very likely be somewhere like California, or back east--a much less NFA friendly state.
If I were to get an SBR or suppressed (or both) weapon while here in Nevada, what would I do while I was living in that other state? I don't have any family that live in Nevada that I could put on a trust and leave it with them. I would ideally come back to Nevada, but I would be gone for anywhere from 3-7 years.
So, what is the protocol in that situation. I assume I couldn't take it with me to a state like California, so what would I do in that situation. If I did happen to move to an NFA friendly state, like Arizona, what is the protocol for taking an NFA weapon there?
Thanks for the help.
